Lutaaya Shafiq is an experienced WordPress developer and PHP enthusiast who is the co-founder of the PoTUS Times website ( www.potustimes.com) which covers the President of the United States and Capitol Hill. Shafiq holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Makerere University, and he is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Information Systems at Makerere University.
Shafiq has been lucky to be among the few who have earned a living building WordPress websites for companies, individuals and organisations among others. He is proud to say that he stumbled upon WordPress way back in 2011 when he was starting his Software development career where he started out as an HTML / CSS developer before he could land on the platform that powers more than 31% of the webs systems that run on the internet- WordPress. He believes that access to the internet is every human’s right and that any entity that has no web presence will not exist in business in the next couple of decades. He has keen interest in Industrial Systems Engineering, Machine Learning, Knowledge Service Engineering and Human Computer Interaction.
When Shafiq is not glued to a computer screen, he spends time meeting friends, family, travelling and most importantly playing chess.
